The Season of Lent has begun.  Pick up a cup and sacrifice and fill the plastic bag with your best for the next few weeks before Easter to help us be a part of ending Human Trafficking with A21 ministries.  

 

WATERMARKS ANCHOR RETREAT March 24 – 25.  Cost $90.  Leave the church at 5 PM and return Saturday evening at 9 PM

 

EASTER JAM – Sunday March 26th from 4 – 5:30 PM.  Community outreach with petting zoo and pony rides, barrel train, snow cones, face painting, sand art, Big inflatable slide and mini obstacle course, The Easter Bunny photo op, and much more.  Join us and invite your family and friends.  We want to invite our community to return to celebrate Easter with us at The Gate.

 

GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE April 7th at 7 PM.  Child Care provided.  Join us for a meditative and contemplative time of worship to remember Jesus sacrifice on The Cross.  This is how we prepare for Jesus coming on Easter morning!

 

WATERMARKS WOMEN’S RETREAT  April 28-29. Cost $90.  Begins Friday with dinner at 6 PM and return Saturday at 9 PM.

El siete de Mayo – Sunday May 7th 4 PM celebrate together – Church spring cleaning.  Everyone…Every age…something to help us refresh our church.  We end the day with a piñata and ice-cream sundaes!

Praise for our March Mission Madness Blessing.  Praise for Rebecca’s mother’s surgery and biopsy declaring she is cancer free!  Prayers for comfort for Ron Switzer and his family as he has entered Hospice Care.  Prayers for healing and protection for Patrick Bridge as he just suffered another heart attack.Prayers for healing and treatment for Lauren battling Pott’s disease.  Prayers for healing for Kelly Martin as her medicine has been decreased. Continued prayers for Danny’s healing in his battle with cancer. (Danny’s Grill) We continue to cry out to God for the Ukraine situation to turn miraculously and for Russia’s leader’s plans to be thwarted. Praying for a friend of Cindy Proffitt, Tammy, whose daughter Erica has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon caner that has spread to her liver. Prayers for Jackie Cox for healing and comfort.  Prayers for Richard Ginn (friend of Sheilia) for his battle with multiple myeloma.  Prayers for our former preschool teacher Caitlin Goode who suffered two strokes and now how a rare disease called calciphylaxis.  Prayers for all the victims of the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria and relief efforts.  Prayers for a little girl Molly in our pre-school having brain surgery in May.  Praise for the Charlie Bowl success and travel mercies while Charlie in away on a business trip.  Prayers for Sarah Barkley (former Preschool teacher) battling heart disease and an accurate diagnosis.
