We strive to extend help, hope, and healing to members of the community near and far. We are passionate followers of Jesus Christ who gather to worship and serve the Almighty God. We trust in and claim the unfailing promises He gave us in His word and use those promises to spread His love to people everywhere. We believe that our God loves and accepts everyone and our desire is that all the world might experience His loving kindness.

You Can’t Outgive God
You Can’t Do Life Alone
For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins on the cross. (Romans 3:23-24) If you openly say, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9) We aim to love God and love our neighbors, worship God in spirit and truth, become imitators of God by serving others, and reach and touch all people near and far with the good news of Jesus Christ. We desire to read, learn, and teach the Word of God.
WHAT TO EXPECT
If you have been in church all of your life or have never been before, we welcome you to join us at the Gate. We gather around tables together in a warm and casual atmosphere to encounter the passion and purpose of God in our lives.

Reverend June Clifford and her husband Tom are the Founders of Beautiful Gate Ministries. They have been passionately pursuing the call God placed on their lives to serve Him in ministry for more than twenty-five years at home in Fluvanna County and on mission fields around the world. Reverend June purposes to equip and empower others to answer the call God has placed upon their lives. She encourages others to use the talents and gifts that God has given them in order to recognize and respond to the brokenness in the lives of individuals and families in our local and global community.
Hello! I grew up in the local area where I found my passion for missions, church, and serving others. I found God and have been cultivating a personal relationship with Jesus right here in my own backyard and have been working towards Kingdom principles ever since. After graduating from Fluvanna in 2003 I joined the military where I served as company lay reader for my unit. After several overseas assignments and over ten years of service I have returned home and returned to ministry where I find my heart comes alive. I enjoy reading, problem solving, cooking, Jeeps, hiking, and puzzles. I have three pets (two dogs and a cat) and most days you can find me outside with one or all of them!
